SANIFLO Provides Solution for Outbuilding Construction Challenge

When the owner of a property in the Durban, Kwazulu-Natal province decided to construct an outbuilding in their back garden to accommodate their parents, they faced a challenge when it came to connecting the new amenities to the existing sewer line. Due to the position of the outbuilding, which was slightly downhill in relation to the main building, there was no gravity fall to the sewer line that served the main building.

The Challenge
Connecting the Outbuilding's Amenities to the Sewer Line

The lifting station is designed to convert water and waste into a slurry using a powerful grinding system. The slurry is then pumped up to the existing sewer connection by the main building, enabling the outbuilding's bathroom and kitchen to fully function.
