Long Street is one of Cape Town’s most popular and vibey streets. With colourful and interesting shops and clubs, it’s a very popular destination for locals and tourists. This makes the perfect location for one of the world’s most popular fast food chains: McDonald’s.
The problem was that even though there were drain points on the one side of the space for the bathroom facilities, there were none available for the wet applications on the other side of the space. It also wasn’t possible to add traditional drainage at it would have damaged the structure of the building.
With Saniflo, they were able to add additional drain points, and ultimately install all of the wet applications in the desired space.
